We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support business decision-making through insightful analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling for a fully remote position supporting an entertainment firm. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who can translate complex data into clear recommendations, evaluate performance trends, and respond effectively to evolving business needs. The role offers the opportunity to partner with stakeholders on planning, reporting, and targeted analyses that improve financial visibility and operational outcomes. The ideal candidate will have revenue allocation experience and should have some experience supervising or overseeing other analysts.Responsibilities:• Develop financial models and analytical frameworks to assess business performance, forecast results, and support strategic planning.• Examine budget-to-actual results, identify key variances, and explain underlying drivers to stakeholders.• Produce ad hoc analyses that address emerging business questions and help leadership make informed decisions.• Gather, organize, and interpret large data sets using data mining techniques to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.• Prepare recurring and on-demand financial reports that summarize findings in a clear and actionable manner.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect inputs, validate assumptions, and improve the accuracy of financial insights.• Monitor financial metrics and recommend areas for cost control, efficiency gains, and performance improvement.
