RN - ER Job Details: • Work in a 101-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 4:1 typically for medical patients and up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holdsOpportunity:RN - ERJob Details:• Work in a 101-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 4:1 typically for medical patients and up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds• Every other weekend scheduling required with flexibility to meet department needs - block scheduling is not available• No floating outside of the ED, but must be open to floating to all sections within the ED• Utilize Baxter pumps and GE monitors as primary equipment• Document using Cerner electronic health records system• Minimum 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year of experience in an ER setting required• Preferred experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high volume ED with more than 100,000 visits• Teamwork mentality with ability to coach and give feedback in real time required• Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED required• Required dress code: Navy scrubs• Must adhere to AIDET patient experience standards, respectful behavior practices, and keep patient boards updated with information throughout each visit• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS prior to start date; ENPC within 90 days of hire• Techs available in cardiac monitoring unit, internal processing area, and triage; unit clerks available on days and flagship hospital is licensed for 815 beds and has been recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals from 2020-2023, placing it in the top 1% of hospitals nationally for clinical quality. The facility has earned an "A" rating from the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade and holds the prestigious Magnet Designation, the highest international honor for nursing excellence.
